An enduring legend of lighting design, Snoopy was conceived by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967 and perfectly embodies a tendency to infuse functional design with a sense of humour. With a silhouette resembling the famous cartoon dog that gave it its name, the lamp’s design has remained unchanged: a slanted marble base supporting an enamelled metal shade held in perfect equilibrium.

The lower plane of the reflector cap and the support crystal are perpendicular to the inclined cylinder at the base and direct the luminous flux almost entirely towards the working area of the reflector plane, while limiting it on the opposite side.
The unmistakable snout-shaped reflector reminiscent of the world-famous Snoopy character of the Peanuts hides an internal white finish that acts as a reflector to diffuse light evenly onto surfaces.
