Veil is a lighting system that seeks to approach the scale of an object, exploring the minimal solution both from a structural perspective and in terms of formal language.
This reduction of the logic of a classic lighting system brings it closer to situations where individual luminaires have traditionally been used. Veil proposes an almost object-like scale, distancing itself from a purely architectural conception.
Its electrical conductivity has been resolved with extreme simplicity. Positive and negative cables are “veiled” within its slender aluminium profile, allowing electricity to flow in an isolated manner.
The different lighting elements, such as spotlights, the diffused light sphere, the linear light, or the diffused cilindrical paper shade, connect to the power supply only at the point where they are needed, and are easily rotated and adjusted to the desired position.
