Design speaks louder than words — feel the inspiration of Milan Design Week 2026.

Winona Ho2026-05-13T10:55:12+08:00
Milan Design Week 2026 unfolded from April 20–26, once again transforming the city into the global stage for design, creativity, and innovation.
Anchored by the Salone del Mobile, this year’s edition brought together architects, designers, fashion houses, and global brands to present bold new ideas that blurred the boundaries between design, art, fashion, and technology. Across Milan’s historic streets and contemporary venues, visitors experienced immersive installations, scenographic exhibitions, and groundbreaking collaborations that highlighted the power of imagination and cultural exchange. More than a showcase of products, Milan Design Week 2026 celebrated design as a universal language — one that shapes how we live, interact, and envision the future.
Milan Design Week 2026 was also a proud moment for us as several of our distributed brands took part in the event. Through their participation, they unveiled exciting new innovations and design concepts that resonated strongly with the week’s spirit of imagination and collaboration. Their presence highlighted our commitment to bringing forward‑thinking design to the market, while reinforcing the role of our portfolio in shaping contemporary living:

Lodes

Axia

Lodes introduced Axia, a bold suspension lamp designed by Carolina Martinelli and Vittorio Venezia that reimagines the classic chandelier with a contemporary twist. The design features a central axis that conducts electricity directly through its arms, eliminating visible wiring and creating a clean, orbital composition reminiscent of a miniature solar system. Crafted in PVD‑coated stainless steel with finishes such as Glossy Bronze and Black Chrome, Axia spans about 80 centimeters and delivers warm, uniform LED illumination with high color rendering and full dimming capability. Presented as both a technical innovation and a sculptural statement, Axia stood out at the fair for its ability to merge precision engineering with decorative impact, making it a centerpiece for both hospitality and residential interiors.

Non Random

Lodes showcased Non Random, a decorative lighting system that expands on the brand’s well‑known “Random” series with new finishes, sizes, and configurations. Designed to offer maximum flexibility, Non Random allows compositions ranging from a single glowing sphere to dramatic clusters that define larger spaces. Available in three diameters and six finishes—including bold new tones like Mandarin Orange, Golden Sage, and Deep Azure Steel—the collection integrates seamlessly with Lodes’ canopy system, enabling tailored arrangements for residential, hospitality, and retail interiors. By combining sculptural presence with soft, uniform illumination, Non Random stood out at the fair as a versatile design tool that transforms lighting into a medium for spatial composition and atmosphere
Masiero

Antesia

Masiero introduced the Antesia collection, a poetic lighting series created by Stella Gianola and Giovanni Battista Gianola that celebrates the artistry of Venetian glassmaking. The design draws inspiration from the different stages of blown glass, capturing its transformation from molten material into organic, flower‑like forms. Antesia features four distinct shapes, ranging from a small bud to a fully opened bloom, each crafted with refined glass techniques such as acid‑etched pressed glass, blown crystal in shades of clear, amber, or smoke, and gradient finishes that shift from transparent to white. Supported by polished bronze‑toned metal frames, the lamps diffuse light with a soft, delicate glow, making them ideal for both residential and hospitality interiors. By blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elegance, Antesia stood out at the fair as a symbol of how glass can embody both technical mastery and poetic expression.
Bomma

Dew Drops Circle

Bomma presented the Dew Drops Circle, a breathtaking crystal chandelier that immediately captured attention. Designed by Boris Klimek, the piece draws inspiration from the delicate beauty of morning dew resting on blades of grass, translated into a monumental circular suspension of glowing crystal spheres. Crafted from mouth‑blown lead‑free crystal with refined finishes such as pearl metallisation and brushed silver, the Dew Drops Circle combines traditional Czech glassmaking with contemporary elegance. Its warm LED illumination, high color rendering, and fully dimmable performance make it both technically advanced and atmospherically rich. Shown in collaboration with Italian luxury brand TURRI, the installation highlighted how Bomma’s sculptural lighting can harmonise with refined furniture design, reinforcing the event’s spirit of imagination, craftsmanship, and cross‑disciplinary innovation.
Flos

Nocturne

Flos unveiled the Nocturne collection by designer Konstantin Grcic, a modular lighting system that drew inspiration from the quiet glow of moonlight and the cinematic atmosphere of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Presented at Flos’ Professional Space, the installation featured luminous panels and sculptural glass forms that created a soft, otherworldly ambiance. Combining hot‑formed borosilicate glass with extruded aluminum profiles, Nocturne offered both direct and indirect illumination with advanced low‑glare LED technology. Available in floor, suspension, and wall‑mounted versions, the collection emphasized flexibility and atmosphere, positioning light not merely as functional illumination but as a poetic medium for storytelling and mood.
TOOY

Stilla

TOOY presented Stilla, a refined lighting collection that captured attention with its sculptural elegance and contemporary versatility. Inspired by the organic geometry of a water droplet, Stilla features soft, curved glass diffusers paired with sleek metal structures, available in finishes such as matte black, champagne gold, and polished copper. The series includes pendant, wall, and table lamp versions, each designed to provide warm, uniform LED illumination while serving as decorative focal points. By balancing functional light with artistic presence, Stilla stood out at the fair as a testament to TOOY’s ability to merge craftsmanship, material richness, and modern design language into lighting that enhances both residential and hospitality interiors.
